Glenn O’Brien is the former Director of Electronic Discovery for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where he worked from 1994 until 2017. In that role, he was responsible for preservation, collection and processing of all electronically stored information in support of litigation activities involving Liberty Mutual or any of its companies. The electronic discovery process Glenn implemented at Liberty has resulted in saving several millions of dollars in litigation costs. He was also responsible for maintaining all of the systems used throughout this process. Glenn’s prior roles at Liberty Mutual include Project Manager and Business Analyst for litigation management related systems. He has also worked as a Paralegal in Liberty’s Environmental department. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Glenn worked as a paralegal for two Boston law firms. Glenn has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University in Boston. He has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He has EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) and an EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner (EnCEP) certifications. Glenn is a veteran of the United States Army.
