Andrew is a Vice President with the General Counsel Organization at Amex. Andrew has led a number of legal teams including the Legal Services Team at Amex, before relocating to the New York office in January 2018. Andrew now leads the Global Operations initiative which includes most operational aspects of the Amex GCO, including legal technology. Further, Andrew chairs an internal technology in law group which is focused on increasing adoption of legal technology and exploring new ways or working. Andrew has a particular interest in Blockchain and is currently part of a work stream exploring potential user cases in legal operations.
Larry Bridgesmith J.D., Larry serves as the Chief Academic Strategist for ODEM.io ODEM brings blockchain and cryptocurrency to on demand education and training in an era in which the acquisition of skills is the measure of economic vitality for people and the institutions in which they work. He is CEO and Co-founder of Legal Alignment and a practicing lawyer in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been listed as one of America’s Best Lawyers, among the Leading Lawyers for American Businesses and SuperLawyer. He is an honorary invited member of the International Academy of Mediators. Larry has practiced in the fields of labor, employment and dispute resolution for over 30 years and served in management roles for boutique and mid-sized law firms throughout his career. He founded Lipscomb University’s Institute for Conflict Management and served as its inaugural Executive Director. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certificate in quality control and efficiency management. Larry is an adjunct professor in legal project management, conflict management and mediation at Vanderbilt University School of Law, Belmont University Massey Graduate School of Business, The Nashville School of Law and the Albany Medical School Alden March Institute for Biomedical Ethics. He coordinates the Program on Law and Innovation at Vanderbilt School of Law. In 2013, Larry was awarded the Grayfred Gray Award for Public Service in Mediation by the Coalition for Mediation Awareness in Tennessee. In 2017 he was awarded the President's Award from the Tennessee Bar Association and the Justice Janice Holder Award from the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services for his work in bringing technology to the practice of law. DASH, the AI, interoperable blockchain and ICO empowered legal productivity tool developed by Legal Alignment, was introduced at the British Legal Tech Forum on March 13, 2018. Teresa Britton is the Senior Manager, Enterprise Records and Information Management, for Exelon Corporation, a fortune 100 company operating in 48 states, the District of Columbia and Canada. Teresa is responsible for advising senior leadership and leading the development of Exelon’s records and information management program. She is responsible for governance, oversight and management of the program and merger integration planning related to records and information management functions.
Teresa started her employment with Exelon’s predecessor Unicom/Commonwealth Edison in 1995 supporting the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Labor and Employment and the Labor and Employment practice group. In 2005, Teresa joined Exelon’s IT organization as a Senior IT Analyst supporting real-time systems for Exelon’s Nuclear business. Teresa returned to Exelon’s Legal Department in 2007 to serve as eDiscovery Systems Coordinator and Legal IT Systems Manager. In these roles, Teresa was responsible for managing the Legal Department’s IT systems and Exelon’s eDiscovery efforts. Her responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining technology and process solutions to facilitate more effective and efficient compliance with the revised federal rules on eDiscovery.
A native of Chicago, Teresa received her Paralegal Certification from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin and her B.B.A in Information Systems and Operations Management from Loyola University in Chicago.

Brett Burney is Principal of Burney Consultants LLC, and focuses the bulk of his time on bridging the chasm between the legal and technology frontiers of electronic discovery. Brett is also very active in the Mac-using lawyer community, working with lawyers who want to integrate Macs, iPhones & iPads into their practice. Prior to establishing Burney Consultants LLC, Brett spent over 5 years at the law firm of Thompson Hine LLP where he worked with litigation teams in building document databases, counseling on electronic discovery issues, and supporting them at trial. Melanie Carmosino is the Director of Legal Operations in the Intellectual Property Group at Microsoft. In that position, she is responsible for tools, processes and project management support of both the portfolio development and engineering teams. She oversees the operations and PMO support teams, as well as coordination of the CPA offshore patent services team. Melanie collaborates in managing domestic and outside counsel procedures, compliance and metrics, forecasting/budget, and is also responsible for managing GDPR compliance for IPG.

He has an extensive background in software sales, service and support leadership both in and outside the legal industry. Chris comes to Aderant following a very successful career at Thomson Reuters. With over 20 years of Information Technology (IT) experience, Shayne has built, worked in, lead, and/or managed a wide variety of IT Security organizations. These include Director of Information Security & Architecture for Erlanger Health System (the nation's 6th largest public healthcare system), Senior Program Manager for Hydroelectric Cyber Security at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST).
In all of these opportunities, Shayne has worked to reduce IT risk by implementing robust internal control systems both as a practitioner and as an auditor. He understands the role of Information Security in support of corporate strategy and has obtained his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). He also holds several professional certifications including his CISSP, CISA, and GSEC.
As a professional and community leader, Shayne actively serves as a mentor, trainer, and advocate for the information security profession. He serves on a number of Boards of Directors including the local ISSA chapter, is a mentor for SANS, served multiple years as an examiner for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (the state-level agency for the National Baldrige Awards), provided training at national conferences, and has published internationally.
