Jennifer Bel is a Spanish lawyer specialized in Employment and Labor Law. She has 10 years’ experience in Cuatrecasas, working at both the Barcelona and Madrid offices. Since 2013, she has been focused on the Knowledge & Innovation Group of Cuatrecasas, which has been placed among the top 13 best companies for knowledge management in Europe by Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) 2017 report and has been recently secured 14th position in the 50 most innovative law firms in continental Europe ranking (Financial Times, Innovative Lawyers, 2017).
Her practice involves coordinating criteria for complex cases, drafting guides and providing technical training and advice to other lawyers in the firm to make their work easier, more effective and innovative.
Over the past year, she has specialized in the disruptive technologies sector (by being part of the D-TECH Cuatrecasas Group), and has been working on how artificial intelligence and big data can help with knowledge-management tasks in a law firm and how it can make our legal services more efficient.
Jennifer also helps coordinate Atticus (Yammer) –the social networking platform used in Cuatrecasas to share and spread knowledge – as well as the Cuatrecasas Labor & Employment Blog, which currently publishes an average of two posts per week (most of them related to D-TECH) and receives approximately 5,000 visits per month.
From February to April 2018, Jennifer worked as a foreign visiting attorney at Littler (in the San Francisco office), the biggest Employment & Labor Law firm in the world.
