Josh Lazar is an IT Director with 15 years of experience in information technology. He is responsible for managing daily tasks and operations of IT and providing the strategic direction forward based on the vision of the principals of SEARCH. Mr. Lazar received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Central Florida in 2001 and 2005 respectively. He is an Adjunct Instructor at UCF, educating students about technology for over a decade. He is a frequent speaker at several technology conferences discussing innovative technological solutions to improve how businesses serve their clients. Dean Leung has served over the past 19 years contributing to the wealth and depth of ILTA thought leadership in a variety of ways. He has had a long tenure as an ILTA member, officer, volunteer and most recently, business partner. In each capacity, he’s been honored with the privilege and deemed it a priority to volunteer time and resources to furthering the ILTA values and mission.
Presently, he serves in two volunteer capacities: ILTA Partner Advisory Council (Member-at-Large since 2017) and ILTA Knowledge Advisor (since 2015). Each of these roles affords him the opportunity to network with peers, influence the ILTA platform and community experience and drive thought leadership not only from his own point of view, but from that of other law firm leaders and technology solution providers.
Dean currently serves as the inaugural Chief Customer Success Officer at iManage and his extensive experience includes roles as a CIO for an AmLaw50 firm and former head of IT for a Canadian firm.

Keith Lipman is the CEO and co-Founder of Prosperoware and a recognized thought leader who is regularly asked to speak about law firm operations and the transformation of the legal services industry. Keith has been twice shortlisted as an International Legal Technology Association Vendor Thought Leader of the Year finalist. He helped form as new standards body for the legal industry, SALI, with the goal to interconnect clients and law firms. He is a frequent contributor to multiple periodicals in the legal industry and speaker.
Prior to Prosperoware, Keith work at the entity now known as iManage and when it was a public company. He was responsible for product strategy in the legal vertical and he shifted how their product fundamentally operated. The result was growing market share from 25% to 80% when he left. Keith has worked in law firms as both a lawyer and an IT director.

Michael Lipps is CEO/Managing Director of the LexisNexis Legal Software Solutions division and is responsible for the LexisNexis' Raleigh Technology & Software Center of Excellence campus located on North Carolina State University's Centennial Campus. In his role, he serves both the Legal and Professional markets, providing software workflow solutions that improve how firms manage spend management, client development and matter/practice management. He is responsible for a number of award-winning LexisNexis software applications including CounselLink, InterAction, PCLaw and more.
Mr. Lipps joined LexisNexis in 2009. Prior to that, he was with Intuit Inc. for 14 years, where he held a variety of product, marketing and business leadership roles, including General Manager, QuickBooks Financial Software.
Mr. Lipps studied Business Administration at California State University, Hayward. He is a trained Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and member of the Silicon Valley Product Management Association. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two children.
Dan, ILTA’s CEO, has extensive experience in association management. Most recently, he served as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of CompTIA. During his tenure, CompTIA’s legal department was recognized by Inside Counsel magazine as one of the most innovative adopters of technology for legal efficiency in the US. Dan has a deep background in technology and has been a practicing lawyer both at a law firm and in-house, giving him insight into the multiple perspectives of ILTA’s members. His strong track-record of innovative thought, program development, and driving strategies benefit ILTA members and the industry.
Alan Lockett is the Head of Data Science at CS Disco, Inc., where he oversees Disco's machine learning and data science efforts, including Disco's patent-pending deep learning approach to predictive coding. Prior to joining Disco, Dr. Lockett worked as a NSF-funded postdoctoral researcher in robotics and deep learning at the Dalle Molle Institute of Artificial Intelligence Studies. He received the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 for his studies in optimization theory, and has published over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific and mathematical papers on topics ranging from optimization to robotics and deep learning.

Vanessa is an Assistant Vice President and the Senior Legal Technology and Litigation Support Administrator with Flagstar Bank, headquartered in Troy, MI. She earned her B.A. from Adrian College and also has a Paralegal Certificate. Vanessa is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Paralegal Section, International Legal Technology Association (Relationship Coordinating Team Member and Corporate Project Planning Committee), and ACC Legal Operations. Vanessa’s background and expertise is unique and diverse. She has worked in both the law firm and in a law department environments. Having this experience brings value to the attorney client relationship and allows her to understand both sides of the business model. In addition, she has extensive training and knowledge as a paralegal, as well as understanding the technological aspects and challenges the legal industry faces today. Vanessa has the confidence and ability to manage the legal issues while comprehending and understanding the technical side of the coin which allows her to interface with the IT department. In her current role she responsible for many high level cases, projects, reports and vendor relationships. She is also the administrator for the legal department’s software and other technologies.

Michelle is a serial intrapreneur. She has had a career which has featured: first to market initiatives; wrangling data; maximising technology; business transformation; and innovation. Her passion for change that adds value, drives her personal and professional life. Michelle currently is the Executive Director of Innovation and is responsible for the design and delivery of the innovation strategy and portfolio for King & Wood Mallesons. Michelle has held previous roles in consulting, strategy and management. She is a Prince 2 project manager, a Prosci Change Management practitioner, d.school Design Thinker and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Michelle is a member of King & Wood Mallesons’ Executive Leadership team and is a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. Michelle juggles an active career with her husband and their two gorgeous boys.
Chris has been litigating patents and technology cases since the start of the first dot.com boom in the late 1990s. His experience spans cellular communications, microchips, HD video compression, high-temperature superconductors, bio-pharmaceuticals, and even an early patent for online pizza-ordering.
In addition to his deep litigation experience, Chris is an accomplished scholar. He holds a doctorate in law from Oxford University, and has held visiting faculty positions at UC Hastings, Berkeley Law, Stanford Law School and Oxford University. Chris serves on the Advisory Board for the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, and is a faculty member of UC Hastings' Innovation Law Institute.
Director of End-User Computing Strategy
Mark’s primary function is to assist customers in understanding the trends and directions of the End User Computing landscape. In this advisory role he will be giving tactical guidance on EUC initiatives and assisting in EUC strategy development in the areas of desktop transformation, mobile computing, DaaS, VDI, and desktop virtualization.
He joined VMware after spending 16 years at Gartner Research where he most recently served as vice president and research director, covering end-user computing with a primary focus on desktop virtualization, hosted virtual desktops, PC hardware, and server-based computing. During this time, he assisted clients in the selection of solutions appropriate for their needs and best practices for client-side policies and procedures. Prior to Gartner, Mark spent 9 years at KeyBank, a regional bank in Ohio where he was vice president overseeing infrastructure operations and desktop support.
Mark proudly calls Cleveland his home, has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Akron and also holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
