Director, Legal Technology Colgate-Palmolive Legal Department

Larry is Director, Legal Technology for Colgate-Palmolive’s 110-attorney, 37 office Global Legal Organization (“GLO”) headquartered in New York City. Larry has worked in the legal technology field since 1987 for firms such as Kennedy Covington, Winston & Strawn, NYLife Insurance Company and Bowne Business Solutions (as IT Director for Brown & Wood). Larry was also a member of the ILTA ’07 and ’08 Conference Committees, a past Charlotte City Representative and present NYC Regional Member Liaison for ILTA.

The Colgate-Palmolive GLO was the first company/firm to implement a mostly 3rd party hosted cloud solution with Lotus Notes on premise combining off-the-shelf and customized platforms from HP Autonomy, CT TyMetrix, Thomson Reuters and DocAuto in 2010. In 2016, the Colgate-Palmolive enterprise moved to a Google for Work Suite platform. Prior experience also includes moving a 200-attorney law firm from DocsOpen 3.9.5 to the NetDocuments SaaS model in 2005. In Q3, 2017 the GLO will launch Gmail integration for iManage Work 10.

Prior to joining ILTA, Clay worked for the law firm Woods Rogers PLC in Virginia. He served as the firm's IT director for 14 years. Previously, Clay worked for several system integrators, providing technical leadership and system integration services. Clay’s 30-plus years of work in the computer field also include roles in consultation, product evaluations, system installations and integrations, programming, hardware repair, software support, and classroom technical training to peers and end users.
Beverly Gibson is Director of Global Solutions Consulting at Intapp. In that role she focuses on helping connect Intapp custoemrs with software and services that meet and exceed their expectations. A seasoned technology veteran, with stints at enterprise leaders including Siebel and Concur, Beverly knows how to capture the attention of an audience and deliver a compeling story that engages and resonates. (She spent thirteen years at Oracle as a VP, having joined in the early days and learned demo mastery from Larry Ellison.)

Ann Gorr is a legal technology consultant, information governance strategist, subject matter expert and avid technology evangelist. She is truly “fluent in legal technology” and recognized for the development and execution of innovative Legal IT strategies for her small-to-midsized law firm and corporate legal clients in the Information Governance/Enterprise Content Management and Compliance arenas. With over 25 years of experience in the unique legal technology environment, Ann has the ability to translate technical information into practical/concise concepts, find simplicity in complexity, execute change management, and to bring about consensus with technology projects by reducing complex issues to manageable solutions. She serves as a champion of change and an in-house advocate for her clients while focusing on developing key strategies and best practices in designing and deploying a strategic Information Governance roadmap. Ann frequently delivers presentations for legal professional associations including ILTA, LegalTech, ARMA, and NJSBA on trending technology topics and regularly conducts national and local CLE programs. Michele has been with Dentons for 6+ years and in large, global law firms for 25+ years.  She has experience in numerous law firm business functions, including security, governance, risk and compliance, budgeting & business analysis, project management, communications, system implementation, user experience enhancement, human resources, procurement and large global mergers/combinations/relocations.  She oversees Dentons integrated IT security and risk management functions to develop globally-aligned risk and compliance workflows to further the firm’s expansion of delivering secure, industry-leading client services. She fosters technology partnerships with the business and is actively involved in various legal industry initiatives to enhance the firm’s security and governance functions.  She regularly collaborates with client industries and legal industry colleagues to help effectively enhance secure data-handling practices.  Michele is an active ILTA volunteer, currently serving as the Women Who Lead Co-Chair and on the LegalSEC Steering Committee.  She previously served on ILTA’s board of directors, as conference co-chair and talent & search committees. Paul is responsible for the firm's technology, knowledge management and information management. Over the last eight years, he has consolidated all IT spending into a single global budget, standardised the firm's server and desktop technologies, and built a captive offshore IT centre in India that handles most routine operational, support and development activities. Paul began his career as an analyst and was the research director at Research Associates before joining McKinsey & Company, where he led a team of 100 who were responsible for research, information and knowledge management. Paul was part of McKinsey's Knowledge Management Council and consulted clients on knowledge management issues, specialising in post-merger situations.

Amit holds over 20 patents in the communications and collaboration spaces and is obsessed with building great experiences for users.
