Prior to the Utah State Bar he was the IT Director at the largest Utah-based law firm, Kirton McConkie. Prior to joining Kirton, David was the IT director for Jones Waldo. He enjoys learning and networking with his ILTA peers. He has been in Legal IT in one form or the other for over 30 years.

In his role at Seyfarth, Randy is responsible for establishing and maintaining the firm's cybersecurity vision, strategy and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. Randy has over 20 years of IT experience in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, retail and financial services. This includes a diverse background in information security and risk, with senior roles as director of supplier risk management, technology risk and controls manager, and business information security officer. In the security discipline, he is a certified CISSP, CISA and CIPP.

Kevin serves as managing director and leader of the Law Department Consulting practice for HBR Consulting. Kevin directs large-scale transformation efforts through the alignment of people, processes and technology. With over 18 years of advisory consulting expertise counseling corporate law departments, Kevin collaborates with clients to improve operational efficiency and optimize legal operations.

Prior to joining HBR Consulting, Kevin was a founding member and managing director at Huron Consulting Group and a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen.

Terrence (Terry) Coan is a Managing Director for HBR Consulting in the advisory business and leads the client matter lifecycle service line focusing on information governance and risk management issues.  In his engagements with over 30 Am Law 200 firms he has developed information governance programs, conducted assessments of existing programs against professionally accepted practices, and has designed and implemented technologies to leverage information, improve business process and mitigate risk.

Scott M. Cohen is the Director of E-Discovery & Information Governance for Winston & Strawn LLP. Mr. Cohen is responsible for all aspects of the Firm's litigation support technology, practice & client services group, electronic discovery operations and document review center management.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cohen has worked in a consultative capacity with law firms and corporate legal departments enabling them to effectively leverage technology in all legal practice areas. With a focus on electronic discovery, complex data analytics, and project management, Scott advises firm lawyers and clients on a wide range of technical issues relating to discovery in complex litigation. Mr. Cohen is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of topics ranging from electronic discovery best practices and legal cost control to leadership development, performance management and staff mentoring in legal organizations.

Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Mr. Cohen was the Practice Support Director for Proskauer Rose where he was responsible for the development and operation of the firm’s practice support department. Mr. Cohen also served as the Director of Information Technology for MetLife where he was responsible for providing general technology and litigation support services to the corporation's large and geographically dispersed legal, records and internal audit departments.

Mr. Cohen is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production, an adjunct instructor in the Bryan University Department of Electronic Discovery, and an executive board member of the East Coast Association of Litigation Support Managers. He is also an advisory board member of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists and an active member of the International Legal Technology Association, the Association for Information and Image Management and the American Records Management Association.

I’m a technologist at heart with a passion for working with customers, which was the driving force behind the evolution of my career to my now dual position of CTO and Chief Customer Officer at BA Insight. In this position I play an active role in contributing to BA Insight’s product and market strategy, while also working as an executive sponsor to many of BA Insight’s innovative customers. I work closely with global enterprises of all sizes to ensure visionary and successful implementations of cognitive solutions enterprise-wide, covering a variety of platforms including Azure Search, Elasticsearch, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint On-Premise. Peter Collins, Supervisor of the Application Support group at McGuireWoods is a results driven professional working to provide excellent customer support, whether it be solving user problems or implementing projects.  Most recently, he has been leading the McGuireWoods’ mobile device management implementation.  He helps guide the Application Support Group delivering efficient, comprehensive, and elegant end-user services.  Mr. Collins has been with McGuireWoods, LLP for the past 12 years, and the Supervisor of Application Support for over three.

Mark Combs is the Chief Information Officer of Steptoe & Johnson.  He has expertise in information security, technology, strategy, people and project management.  Mr. Combs has provided leadership for all areas of information technology including networking, telecommunications, PC support, application support, project management, and data center operations and customer service.  For the past year, Mr. Combs worked as Associate Vice President and Assistant Chief Information Officer for West Virginia United Health System.  He has brought his experience in the information technology field to various other health care facilities.  Mr. Combs also serves on the Board of Directors for the WV InfraGard Member's Alliance.

With his most recent successful exit of his previous company Engenium to Marsh McLennan, Brainspace is Dave’s third successful startup.
