David Rueff serves as the Chief Client Solutions Group Officer of Baker Donelson and oversees a team of 25 professionals who provide support for legal project management, budgeting, pricing, knowledge management, machine learning, AI, data, legal research and supporting technologies.  David is also a Shareholder with Baker Donelson and has been a practicing attorney for over 20 years in both litigation and commercial transactions.  He was responsible for launching one of the first Legal Project Management Offices in 2011 and has lead the development of several of Baker Donelson's proprietary process/technology solutions for LPM, budgeting, pricing and process improvement. He has also worked with in-house legal departments to develop programs for improved outside counsel management and operations and assisted the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium with the development of their in-house LPM model.  He is a regular speaker on innovation and the use of technology in legal practice and was the co-author of The Power of Legal Project Management published by the ABA in 2014 as well as other books and articles.

Eric is responsible for the operational vitality, product enterprise and financial health of Elite and Serengeti.  In his previous role as the Managing Director for TRTA, Indirect and Property Tax Business, he was responsible for all aspects of the business segment. He joined Thomson Reuters through the acquisition of Sabrix in 2009, where he had been for seven years prior. His background is in enterprise level software companies, starting in the early days, with Sybase, Documentum, Extensity and Sabrix. Eric spent 25 years of my career in sales management prior to joining Thomson Reuters.
