In this role, one of her focuses is to build and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Starting out in law libraries before transitioning to knowledge management, Jennifer has implemented many tools for law firms, including research databases, SharePoint portals, internal and client-facing collaborative tools, enterprise search, custom applications, and business development tools over the years. She has a passion for delivering intuitive and accessible solutions as evidenced by her involvement with the design and development of an intranet that was winner of the intranet innovation award from StepTwo Designs, and an internal chatbot, which was the winner of ILTA’s 2019 Transformation Project of the Year Award.

Sheila has more than 15 years’ experience leading sales and marketing teams.  As Senior CRM Manager for Duane Morris, Sheila oversees the firm’s InterAction CRM database and email communication platform.  Sheila’s responsibilities also include identifying new technologies to increase CRM efficiency and ROI, and determining effectiveness and defining best practices for email marketing and social media.

His clients range from financial institutions and multinational corporations to start-ups and small-to-medium businesses. Before joining Broad and Cassel, David served for over sixteen years as CIO, IT Director and in other IT leadership positions for law firms Broad and Cassel, Rissman Barrett, Burr Forman, Turner Padget Graham & Laney, and Ruden McClosky. David also owned and operated his own technology consulting firm for over five years and consulted extensively with Florida law firms as well as educational institutions such as the University of Miami, Florida State University and the University of South Florida. 

David believes in keeping up with technology trends and has expertise in disaster recovery & business continuity, document management, project management, budgeting, virtualization, network operations, storage, email, and telecommunications systems.

David is a longtime ILTA volunteer, serving most recently as ILTA’s Regional Vice President for the Southeast region for six years.  David has been asked to speak at numerous major industry conferences and trade shows and has contributed numerous articles in magazines and trade journals, and his work has been the subject of several “real world” case studies. David received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and has over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, including over 20 years in legal IT with 17 of those years spent in a management role.

She has been an active ILTA volunteer since 2001. She currently serves as Law Firm 101 Chair and Program Planning Council. Sandy also served as the Middle Atlantic Regional Vice President and in many other volunteer committees and roles.
