Matt is a Senior ECM Engineer at Adaptive Solutions.  Prior to working for Adaptive, Matt spent 14 years working for a large Philadelphia law firm, focusing on Worksite supporting on the front and back ends, including integrated applications.  He has also been involved in projects such as application development and process automation.  He holds M.S. in Information Sciences from Drexel University.

Steven G. Hatch is a founder and Chief Operating Officer of Helient Systems, LLC, an IT services company providing innovative and future-focused technology solutions.  Hatch has spent the past 20+ years providing strategic leadership and tactical support to a long list of dedicated AM Law 100 and professional services clients.  He continues to forge strong partnerships with technology leading companies including Nutanix, NetApp, Citrix and Microsoft.  A former co-founder of Network Alternatives, a 1999 start-up and early pioneer in cloud computing, Hatch designs leading solutions to enhance business performance and company growth.

Dan is an attorney and former co-founder and CEO of ThreadKM, which was acquired by NetDocuments in November 2017. He is focused on developing solutions that improve productivity and client service in the legal profession. Dan also leads the product teams in planning, researching, designing, and developing the company's portfolio of cloud-based products, including document management and file syncing, intelligent predictive email filing, and real-time messaging.

Prior to working in technology, Dan practiced at Bryan Cave doing complex commercial litigation and antitrust counseling. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and has spoken at numerous events about legal technology including ILTACON, Lawtech, LexThink and others.

Robert Hauser, Supervisor of the Software Integration group at McGuireWoods LLP, has a background in web development and currently leads a team comprised of software developers, database administrators, and application integration specialists. He studied Psychology at Virginia Tech and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Hauser has been with McGuireWoods, LLP since January, 2007.

Joy Heath Rush is the Chief Executive Officer of The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), an organization that serves more than 24,000 international legal technology professionals in their support of the practice of law. As Chief Executive Officer, Joy oversees ILTA’s operations, a global network of volunteer leaders, and a professional staff of more than 30 employees.

Joy has spent virtually her entire career supporting lawyers and technologists in the practice of law, and she has deep familiarity with the complexities our member firms and organizations face in today’s vastly shifting and dynamically changing marketplace. She has worked at global law firm Sidley Austin LLP as well as Litera Microsystems in executive roles. She has a long history of leadership in peer networking groups associated with legal technology. Joy has had the opportunity to speak and write on a wide array of technology sessions, in CIO and leadership roundtables and talent management topics at legal events, including ILTACON, ABA Tech Show, Legal Tech NY, Legal Tech West Coast, ABA Law Practice Management, DRI, ALA, NALP, and ARMA, among others.

Ryan has been in his current role for 11 years. His responsibilities involve all aspects of technology for the firm, including infrastructure and operations, negotiating purchasing, short- and long-term planning and business alignment, and managing litigation support. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked at the advertising agency Martin|Williams. In addition to his contributions to ILTA, he is involved in ALAMN and has co-chaired the Systems and Technology and Communications committees.

Joe Hoegler is the Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Kraft Kennedy. He is responsible for all technology services delivery and solution development at the firm and manages all project practice groups. Joe also provides technical leadership and strategic guidance on engagements involving a broad range of law firm technologies and is responsible for directing technology strategy at the firm. He has led many projects for numerous members of the AmLaw 100 in addition to leading and coordinating day-to-day operations and projects for small and mid-sized clients. Joe previously led the firm’s Infrastructure and Enterprise Systems practice group and was responsible for several areas, including messaging systems and unified communications, directory services, server virtualization, and data center design. Among his certifications, Joe was one of the first people worldwide to achieve Microsoft Certified Solutions Master in Messaging and is one of only 22 people worldwide who hold this certification; he is a Microsoft Certified Master on Exchange 2010 (one of approximately 135 people worldwide) and a Microsoft Certified Master on Office 365: Exchange Online. Joy directs a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers and technologists who leverage technology and advanced legal project management initiatives in support of complex and high volume engagements. She is responsible for technology selection and consultation, development of pricing models, budgets and best practices, recruitment and professional development of the lawyers and staff in her group, and management of the firm's relationships with software and staffing vendors. Joy is a licensed attorney and was a consumer of litigation support services for more than a decade before focusing her career in this area in 2010.

Matt's passion is to help people think, meet and learn together better. Although Matt suffers from a self-diagnosed case of "Idea Surplus Disorder," his ventures share one thing in common: a focus on creative ways to solve difficult problems. While he no longer practices law, Matt continues to author the award-winning legal blog "the [non]billable hour." Matt is a a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, and he has been named a "Legal Rebel" by the American Bar Association Journal and one of the 50 most innovative thinkers in the legal industry by Fastcase. Matt lives in St. Louis.

Monroe oversees the firm's IT, financial management systems, litigation support and software development. Under Monroe's leadership, Sunstein has become a leader in the areas of workflow automation, master data management and the electronic file. Sunstein's Docketing Workflow System has been featured at vendor conferences and at the AIPLA; other applications have been patented and licensed by both software vendors and other law firms.
