Kristin J. Jones has extensive experience with information privacy and security laws. She is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and can provide advice to clients regarding privacy and data protection laws, compliance with those laws and risk mitigation practices. As an integral member of Stradley Ronon’s cybersecurity practice, Kristin advises clients in privacy and data security matters, working to protect clients before and after a cyber incident – from preparing privacy and security policies to swift guidance on responding to a data breach. Kristin understands the evolving security threats and the importance of protecting health information maintained by her clients. In addition to her client work, Kristin serves as Chief Privacy Officer for the firm, and is responsible for protecting the firm’s data – including information received from our clients – from unauthorized users.

Kristin also provides regulatory, compliance and reimbursement counsel to health care providers (including hospitals, health systems and physician practices) and insurers. She counsels clients who operate in a highly regulated environment and is skilled at providing practical advice about complex regulatory schemes.

Kristin is a frequent lecturer and author on a wide range of cybersecurity issues.
