Brett Tarr serves as Counsel, Litigation & E-Discovery for Caesars Entertainment. He has spent the last 10 years working exclusively in the areas of electronic discovery and information governance, and joined the law department at Caesars Entertainment in 2012 to build that organization’s internal capabilities in managing electronically stored information for litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters. Mr. Tarr has experience working in litigation for national law firms, developing programs for e-discovery providers, and serving in-house legal roles for several companies and has provided consulting services, developed marketing programs, and authored articles on related topics for many leading organizations in this field.
Mr. Tarr participates in industry workgroups including EDRM and Sedona Conference, as well as publishing content for ILTA, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and other national publications. He has authored and taught more than a dozen continuing legal education courses over the past 8 years on a range of topics including litigation preparedness, electronic discovery, computer forensics, development of defensible processes, and the importance of proactive information governance.
