Cindy Thurston Bare is the Director of Knowledge Management at Orrick, a firm known for innovation and collaboration. Cindy’s mission is to enhance client service through technology and process innovation.

Cindy has over 15 years of experience leading people and projects in large global law firms. Her current projects include experience collection, developing a next-generation intranet, and leveraging cloud technologies for collaboration and business development. She was previously the Director of Knowledge Development at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where her team was one of the first in the legal industry to create custom, collaborative extranets to help clients address business problems.

Cindy earned a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, an MA in Human Resources Development from George Washington University, and an MA in Counseling from Marymount University.
