Michael Dov Nogroski is the Director of Practice Innovations at Chapman. He started his career in Austin, Texas in the height of the 1990's technology boom working in the dot-com industry. His focus was on web technologies and markup languages. Seeking to expand his horizons and looking to fulfill a long-held dream, he set off to Chicago, Illinois to go to law school. Since then, he has worked as an attorney, a legal technologist, and an evangelist for digital strategy and innovation in legal.
Michael combines over 20 years of technology experience and 15 years legal experience, overseeing strategic initiatives to develop technology systems and processes that promote the collective knowledge of the firm, reduce risk, and increase efficiency and collaboration to the continuous benefit of Chapman clients. He works directly with clients, firm management, attorneys, and other departments to develop the firm's innovation and advanced technology strategy.
Outside the office, he has been known to yell into microphones while strumming a guitar. More likely, you might catch him at the record store perusing crates of vinyl records to add to his collection. Most likely, he's out hiking with his wife and kids.
