I am a lawyer, technologist and a business oriented strategic thinker who has been focusing on the challenge of how to apply technology to meet the business goals of law firms for over 20 years. As the Director of Practice Support at Kelley Drye, my responsibilities include improving the Knowledge Management, Litigation Support and Records and Compliance functions of the firm. I work closely with these departments on a strategic and tactical level, from providing general direction to setting budgets and managing goals, implementing new technology and better processes to streamline work, reduce cost and achieve competitive advantage.
I have years of hands-on experience in implementing technology and am highly knowledgeable in eDiscovery software, SharePoint, Knowledge Management tools including Enterprise Search, Workflow Systems and Enterprise Content Management. Technology ownership includes the firm Intranet, Extranets, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Workflow, E-Discovery processing and review platforms, document automation/assembly, taxonomy and content management, knowledge banks and custom software development for internal teams and client facing projects. I have years of hands-on practical experience in leveraging SharePoint in a law firm, including the design and development of numerous custom database and workflow solutions and FAST Enterprise Search.
I am equally comfortable discussing the technical requirements of a new workflow or search system with engineers and developers, giving a presentation to the firm’s partners on how our technology platform can aide in the delivery of services or discussing our technology solutions with a client. I am a frequent speaker on technology and the law for organizations like the ABA and ILTA.

Jennifer Zanieski is an experienced information technologist with 20 years of experience in the legal industry. As Director of IT User Support, Jennifer is responsible for leading the design and delivery of efficient systems to enhance end user experience and satisfaction. Jennifer’s experience in the legal industry has focused entirely on the end user experience in training, support, and design of enterprise applications. Most recently, she led a desktop/laptop deployment of over 2000 devices with Windows 10, Office 365, and over 30 upgraded applications. This technology platform ensures that the firm will always be using the latest Microsoft products and that important security/software updates will be installed even if the devices are off the Troutman network.
Jennifer is an active member in ILTA (International Legal Technology Association) and was recently nominated as a finalist for their 2018 ILTA Distinguished Peer Awards Technology Training or Support Professional of the Year.
